One of its primary objectives is to establish Vedic Research schools that promote Vedic principles and educate future generations. The trust aims to instil a sense of service in individuals and promote ethical values through various initiatives. It organises seminars, educational camps, and workshops to deepen the understanding of religious principles. Additionally, JET focuses on supporting the physical and mental well-being of those affected by blindness or cancer, advancing education by providing necessary facilities, and extending relief to communities impacted by natural disasters. By offering opportunities for service that benefit communities on local, national, and global scales, it focuses on the creation of a positive impact worldwide. Under the guidance of their esteemed Acharya, HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, JET remains steadfast in its mission to provide charitable and philanthropic services globally.

Impact

With the support of over 100,000 volunteers and 500+ donors, Jeeyar Educational Trust (JET) has successfully undertaken 50+ projects with more than 10 utilities.

Programs

  • Jivana Vikas Programme

    Jivana Vikas started operations on March 24, 1995. The programme provides education, boarding, lodging, and food for underprivileged children. To date, 72 students have successfully completed their 10th-grade education through this institution. Several of them have pursued engineering and secured other favourable employment opportunities, leading to stable lives. Currently, support is extended to 13 students, including 10 orphans, with furnished rooms equipped with beds, tables, chairs, and access to kitchen and dining facilities.

  • Nethra Vidyalaya School

    Nethra Vidyalaya School for the Blind, operated by JET, offers cost-free residential education near Visakhapatnam, India. Catering to over 80 students from grades I to X, this institution is affiliated with Jeeyar Educational Trust. It provides holistic education to visually impaired individuals. Notably, Nethra Vidyalaya distinguishes itself as India's pioneer in allowing visually impaired students to independently write exams on laptops, without the need for scribes. JET ensures that blind students from all backgrounds receive free education, encompassing accommodation, meals, study materials, and more, irrespective of their religion, caste, colour, or gender.

  • Vedabhavanam Ashram

    Vedabhavanam, established in 2003 in Karimnagar, provides free food, clothing, and education to students. The Asramam features a school building with eight spacious classrooms, along with facilities like a computer lab, reading hall, dining hall, kitchen room, playground, hostel, and an RO Water Plant. The students have the opportunity to engage in various activities, including excursions, academic trips, Vikasa Tarangini activities, volunteering during food distribution, participation in Swatchh Bharath events, learning yoga, art, and music, as well as taking part in Yagams and homas, all aimed at nurturing their overall personality development.

    Bhakthinivedana Monthly Magazine, initiated in April 1947, holds the distinction of being one of India's enduring spiritual publications. Conceived with the divine purpose of addressing the spiritual requirements of society, this monthly magazine has consistently been in circulation since its inception, spanning a remarkable period of time.

  • JET Vedic University

    Established in 1984 by HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, JET Vedic University is located in Sitanagaram, Guntur district. Initially, with 70 students, the university taught Sukla Yajur Veda, Krishna Yajur Veda, Rig Veda, and Atharva Veda, and later introduced the Aagama subject. The school started with modest facilities but gradually expanded with the help of generous donors. Over eight batches have completed Vedam and now serve as Vedic pundits and priests worldwide, with over 1000 students receiving certificates from the institution.

  • Varija Vedic School

    Founded in 2003 along the Bay of Bengal, Varija Asramam offers teachings in Sukla Yajurveda, Pancharathra Agama, Smarttham, Prabandham, Telugu, and Sanskrit. The students benefit from complimentary provisions such as food, clothing, education, excursions, and academic activities. Engaging in a range of initiatives, the students actively participate in Swatchh Bharath programmes, relief programmes, NCC drills, artwork, as well as homas, yagas, and other spiritual events.
