It is the result of driven youths who, having grown up in tumultuous homes and through all of life's tribulations, have dedicated their lives to creat Read moreing a better society. They not only witnessed the pitiful state in which people lived, particularly women and girls, but they also had to deal with it. It was founded in 2006, but in 2013 it was given legal status. Although its goal is to operate in all of the Northeastern states, most of its work is still done in Manipur. Strives for a society free from terror, where empowered people regain their rightful rights and entitlements and live honourable, independent lives. To realize its ideal future, InSIDE-north east would like to: • Giving the disempowered more authority, • enhancing their abilities and self-assurance, • guaranteeing their subsistence and • Assisting them in recognizing beauty within their cultural context.
