Leadership Development Programme
Conducted project on leadership development of women in collaboration with the Department of Women and Child for 150 candidates for three batches for three months during the month of December 2009. Covered the modules like: • Education and mid-day meals in schools • Inoculation and nutrition in Anganwadi centre • Health care, institutional delivery, family planning services in the health centre/ sub-centre/dispensary • Essential commodities in Fair Price Shop (ration shop) • Drinking water supply • Toilets/sanitation facilities • Electricity supply • Employment opportunities • Skill development/training • Crime against women • Banking services • Legal rights of women • Right to Information Act (RTI) • Role of women in Panchayati Raj and Nagar Palika • Rural Employment Programme • Household surveys
Income Generation Training Programme
Provided training programme in the trade of Maggam work and engagement for housing scheme survey work giving income generation opportunity to the candidates. Arranged workshop for sustainable livelihood like organic farming.
Skill Development Training Programme
Conducted training for total no. of 23,093 beneficiaries for programmes like: • Skill Development Training Programmes in the trades like bedside assistant, fashion designing, beautician, jute products, tailoring, embroidery, fashion designing, web designing, computer applications and accounting etc. • Awareness Generation Programmes. • Leadership Development Programme under Rajiv Yuvashakthi Scheme
