Major Activities

Major tasks and accomplishments (as reported by the NGO):
Activities relating to Education, Health and Livelihood. 1. Free distribution of library books worth Rs. 3000.- to each of 100 Govt. high schools for two successive years.2. Scholarships given @ Rs. 3000/- per student for 100 poorest of the poor students who have passed 10th class and going for higher education for two consecutive years.3. Conducted free eye camps 31 Nos. covering 250 villages. 5833 persons were tested, glasses distributed for 2790 persons and referred 453 people for operation.4. Cleft lip patients were identified and about 30 people were operated.5. Provided free artificial limbs to nearly 50 physically handicapped persons.6. Homeo medicines were distributed in 80 villages and 100 high school children to prevent seasonal diseases and chicken gunea, sun stroke, swine flue, Dengu etc.7. Tailoring training was given to about 100 poorest of poor girls and also distributed sewing machines free to them.8. Adopted two tribal girls residential schools to develop them as a replicable model for overall development of children.9. Adopted two villages for overall development of people and resources.
