Overview

It provides coaching and work opportunities to excluded adults who are isolated from the mainstream society due to extreme poverty, abuse and prison history. It aims to provide facilitating conditions to make them realize their energy, talent and creativity. Each team has 15 young adults with one mentor. It operates through 'Life Project Centers' which are located in slum areas and provide training to young adults in various skills. The trainees work for two and a half days per week and simultaneously learn about production, administration and finance.

Young adults are encouraged to converse in English language and that is why it is spoken widely at all the Life Project Centers. It runs a program named 'Life Project Money' where each young adult is given weekly allowance where they manage their own budget and also save. It has a Star Club, where graduates who have completed their training, share their experiences of the professional world. The initiative is taken by the young adults and promoted by the organisation.

Life Project 4 Youth is headquartered in Paris, Ile-de-France. It has contributed largely in Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and India. It aims to create an Youth Inclusion Network where it brings different companies and the excluded youth together as a part of CSR programs.

This program has impacted the lives of more than 10,000 young adults. 5% of them have started their own business and 80 % who were earlier living on streets or could not afford basic amenities are now earning a decent livelihood.
