Programs

  • Plastic Reprocessing Unit and Waste Management Training Centre

    The organisation operates a Plastic Reprocessing Unit and Waste Management Training Centre that actively contributes to the 'Plastic Free India' campaign. In collaboration with the local Government, it established a recycling plant handling 2 tons daily, employing 11 individuals directly. With support from the Urban Local Body and Rotary Club, they have a dedicated warehouse and machinery for plastic waste processing. Its mechanical recycling process includes segregation, doorstep collection, washing, milling, and various stages leading to extrusion, which positively impacts the local environment and creates continuous employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups, particularly women living below the poverty line. This initiative, aside from its significant environmental and public health benefits, serves as a revenue-generating model, benefitting both the community and the environment.

  • Eco Friendly Products

    The organisation operates an Eco-friendly Products shop, actively promoting and retailing environmentally conscious items such as jute and cloth bags, cardboard pens, wooden toothbrushes and combs, steel straws and cleaners, sugarcane plates, and packaging boxes, among others.

  • Humanitarian aid for Employment and Livelihood Project (HELP) Programme

    The organisation runs the Humanitarian Aid for Employment & Livelihood Project (HELP), addressing the rising issue of unemployment in India. HELP involves conducting surveys to identify industries in need of workers and subsequently organizing training programmes to enhance the skills of the unemployed, ultimately connecting them with employment opportunities.

  • Plastic Parlour

    The organisation operates a Plastic Parlour, where in exchange for plastic waste, it offers breakfast, plants, jute bags, and various other eco-friendly products.

  • MESSAGE Campaign

    The organisation runs the MESSAGE (Make Each School Student Aware of Good Environment) campaign, aimed at Government primary school students. This creative initiative encompasses teaching creative skills like painting, crafting from waste materials, storytelling, and gardening. Additionally, it promotes holistic practices such as meditation and yoga in their daily routines to enhance their overall well-being and joy in life. Furthermore, it raises awareness among students about the crucial importance of environmental protection.
