ANMs, ASHA workers, ICDS workers, PRIs, primary school teachers, adolescent girls, and women from underprivileged areas are all trained extensively on the subject of female reproductive and child health as part of these projects. It hopes to bring about a sustainable period of food security and health in the impoverished states of Bihar and Jharkhand through the intervention.

Prabha's Smart Lakhpati Kisan program has provided answers to some of the most important queries on livestock management and sustainable farming. A significant push in this direction has been the provision of training on crop rotation, multi-cropping, organic practices, green manuring, building vermicompost pits, and technical irrigation advancements under the close supervision of ATMA, CINI Trust, and JSLPS. For many households, particularly PVTGs, kitchen gardens, paddy nurseries, fishing, lac cultivation, goat rearing, and backyard poultry have provided a stable source of income. These programs have given these weaker, marginalized groups a way to break free from the gloom of unstable finances.

It is a march towards a fresh beginning with its ongoing efforts to provide safe, transportable drinking water through electric water supply channels, hand wash stations installed in schools and ICDS centers, and soak pits built to prevent water pollution and stagnation at the community level. Some of the ground-breaking projects we have carried out in collaboration with the school management committees in our project operating area include teaching hand-washing practices with soaps, encouraging the use of clean toilets, distributing wash kits, and installing water filters in schools to remove iron.

Through its initiatives, it has educated 5000 households on the proper management of menstrual hygiene.

Rural women have long been constrained by patriarchal norms and illiteracy, limiting their decision-making power and growth opportunities. In rural Jharkhand, the literacy rate for women is a meagre 46.6%, significantly lower than the national average of 58.8%. Overcoming gender inequality is essential, as women in rural India perform 66% of unpaid work, earn substantially less than men, and face limited access to resources and knowledge. Pravah is dedicated to bringing marginalised women from SC and ST communities into the mainstream of the rural economy. They facilitate bank linkages, credit access and support women's entrepreneurship. Through women's self-help groups and federations, Pravah empowers these women to plan and execute livelihood activities, fostering leadership and independence. The organisation's initiatives, including kitchen gardens, poultry farming, fisheries, and lac cultivation, have strengthened their communities' health, nutrition, and financial stability.

Health insurance remains inaccessible to 90% of India's poorest, but Prabha works with frontline health workers to improve access. Digital literacy is a priority to help rural communities access government benefits through e-governance portals.
