Programs

  • Early Childhood Education

The formative years of a child are critical. These form the basis for a child's learning and overall development, as well as determining whether or not they will survive and thrive in life. Many studies have shown that a child's life outcomes, including their level of wealth and health, are greatly influenced by the quality of their early childhood education (ECE), and that a child's brain development peaks between the ages of 0 and 5. The CII Foundation is collaborating with state governments and enlisting business backing to establish prototype Anganwadi Centres around the nation. The principal goal of the CII Foundation is to enhance ECE at Anganwadi Centres by advocating for policies and carrying out projects.

  • Woman Exemplar Program

The CII Foundation Woman Exemplar Programme honours deserving women who are involved in grassroots initiatives. Since its launch in 2005, the programme has worked to empower women at the local level by identifying, honouring, and providing support to those who have succeeded despite all obstacles and made major contributions to India's progress.
