At BCC, the "PRERNA" Sustainable Livelihood Programme for Women, supported by MG Motor, offers free skill development training, focusing on cutting, stitching, hand embroidery, and crafting various items. It aims to support economically disadvantaged women from urban slums, reviving traditional arts and crafts. The objective is to empower 100 underprivileged women in Vadodara's urban slums through training in tailoring and embroidery, promoting self-employment and self-reliance. The training covers designing, measuring, cutting, stitching, and embroidery. The programme's impact includes improved employment opportunities, higher income levels, job satisfaction, increased flexibility, empowerment, and gender equality. It promotes financial stability by creating work opportunities and market linkages, enabling access to government schemes, bank loans, and subsidies.

Baroda Citizens Council runs Savera, an Educational Sponsorship Programme. It recognizes the obstacles that deny underprivileged children access to education and aims to eliminate those barriers. It provides educational sponsorships with a focus on children facing socio-economic challenges, including orphans and those with single parents. The programme covers more than 50 schools, with various supporters such as GSECL, United Way of Baroda, and MG Motor, facilitating education for hundreds of children from urban and rural areas. Through this initiative, not only is education ensured, but it also addresses the factors that hinder children from attending school, creating a brighter future for these young minds.

Baroda Citizens Council's ICT Project, known for its Inclusive Education Drive, offers after-school support and vocational training. This initiative empowers children, youth, and special children in rural areas by providing education, basic computer literacy, and vocational skills to women. The project focuses on inclusive education for children, adolescents, and youth, teaching skills like data entry, accounting, order taking, billing, documentation, and vocational activities like salon services and handyman skills. Additionally, it offers vocational training classes for women in sewing, parlour services, candle making, and soap making, with centres established at three locations.

Baroda Citizens Council, an NGO, operates a unique Day Care Center for Divyang Children, dedicated to empowering physically and mentally challenged children. Its holistic approach encompasses education, boarding facilities, and cultural programmes to nurture talents, making a significant impact on economically disadvantaged families. This daycare facility also provides essential support such as physiotherapy and surgical assistance as needed. Through counselling programmes, both parents and children gain a better understanding of their situations and are empowered to embrace their place in society. Specially trained staff helps children with daily activities, fostering their independence and exploration of their environment. The daycare offers transportation facilities and specialized equipment. Baroda Citizens Council is a proud advocate for Vadodara's specially-abled children, providing vital assistance, encouragement, and education.

Baroda Citizens Council addresses the critical need for after-school support for underprivileged children in India. Its Programme After School Support (PASS) initiative was designed to combat various challenges faced by these children, including domestic burdens, criminal activities, unhealthy environments, malnourishment, child labour, and the high cost of private tuition. Each year, PASS reaches over 350 children, providing them with quality education and nutrition for their holistic development. The organisation has undertaken the ambitious task of promoting universal education among underprivileged children in select slum communities in Vadodara city. Through 10 PASS classes, Baroda Citizens Council is striving to elevate the living standards and educational levels of the next generation, with approximately 350 beneficiaries, emphasizing the holistic development of each child.
