Jubilant Bhartia Foundation aims to create social impact through multi-stakeholder partnership and foster knowledge generation, experiential learning Read moreand entrepreneurial ecosystem. The foundation focuses on four areas which include universal elementary education, improving health indices through innovative services, enhancing employability and enabling a conducive environment for social entrepreneurship. The initiatives undertaken by the foundation aim to improve parameters for primary education system through community involvement, promote health related awareness and provide basic healthcare to the community, improve employability through vocational training and provide a platform to social innovators to highlight social entrepreneurship as a key element for inclusive growth. In the area of education, the foundation has incubated Project ‘Muskaan’ to support government rural primary education system which aims to improve the learning environment and reduce the school dropout rates. In the area of health, the foundation has incubated a community based pilot project named ‘Swasthya Prahari’ in Public- Private-People Partnerships (4P) mode which includes ‘Nirog Bachpan’ which is a school health check-up programme and provision of community health services. In the area of livelihood, the foundation aims to enhance the employability and livelihood opportunities of the community through skill development via vocational training centres, self-help groups, training and capacity building of farmers, soil testing, an artificial insemination centre and cattle health camps. In the area of social entrepreneurship, the foundation offers 'The India Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award' which is a joint initiative by Jubilant Bhartia Foundation and Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, with an objective to recognise social entrepreneurs with large-scale system changing models.
