Programs

  • Arunachala Evening schools

Regenboog has established nine Evening Schools in slum areas and surrounding villages of Tiruvannamalai, as a solution to the lack of education and poverty cycle prevalent in these communities. The main goal is to offer children a supportive environment after regular school hours, where they complete their homework, receive additional assistance from qualified teachers, and find motivation to continue their education and achieve their full potential. The program operates from 17:30 to 20:00, six days a week, and is easily accessible to the children. The students are divided into age groups, and each group has its dedicated teacher. These teachers engage with the children, inquire about their day, offer help with schoolwork, and address any academic challenges they face. Beyond academics, the Evening Schools also emphasize values such as caring for others, being responsible citizens, and nurturing self-belief to create a positive future.

  • Science Park

Established to address the insufficient recreational space for the city's large population of over 250,000 people, especially children. The park's main goals include providing an innovative and educative space for families to spend quality time, creating awareness about various issues, and offering children an opportunity to learn while playing. It features exhibits on science, healthcare, hygiene, and 15 unique games, including an adventure walk and a rope bridge, to provide children with exciting experiences. The park's facilities also include a large open-air auditorium where children can showcase their talents to the public. With 24-hour security, surveillance cameras, restroom facilities, access to pure drinking water, and regular maintenance, the park remains in top condition.
