Major tasks and accomplishments (as reported by the NGO):
Asia Pacific Institute of Management (APIM) is one of the most prestigious management Institute in North India. Form Last 20 Years, it is imparting word class Management education and also has made its presence in skill development initiatives across industries and trades that are in the process of grass root development. Some of the critical projects that are currently being accomplished and going on are listed below : a) Swarn Jayanti Shahri Rozgaar Yojana (Ministry of Minority Affairs) The Swarn Jayanti Shahri Rozgar Yojna Seeks to provide gainful employment to the urban unemployed and underemployed poor by encouraging self employment ventures, or by the provision of wage employment. b) Seekho aur Kamao (Ministry of Minority Affairs) The scheme was implemented for the benefied of the 5 notified minority communities under National Commission for Minorities Act 1995 (Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and Parsis). Key features of of Seekho aur Kamao are Placement linked training programme for modern trades, Skill Training Programme for modern trades, Skills training Programme for Traditional Trades, Project implementing agencies to ensure 75 Percent employment and out of that 50 percent in organized sector. c) Nai Roshini (Ministry of Minority Affairs) Nai Roshni is a training initiative specifically designed by the Ministry to instill leadership qualities amongst minority women. d) Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (ELSTP) APIM as training partners to Employment Linked Skill Training Programs, have a training agenda of more than 21600 students. The course includes Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Retail, Material Management, Courier & Logistics, Telle Caller Plus. e) CBSE (Capacity Building Programs APIM empanelled by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are to deliver capacity building programmes for teachers and schools principals of CBSE affiliated schools in India and abroad) STAR Scheme (NSDC Programme) The Objective of this scheme is to encourage skill development for youth by providing monetary rewards for successful completion of approved training programs. g) DDU-GKY under Ministry of Rural Development in the State of Odisha, Kerala, Rajasthan APIM has contributed to Aajeevika Skills with educational intervention that will increase the employability of the students. We at APIM have signed up for 25 centre at across Rajasthan, Odisha and Kerala for Training Sectors Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Retail Mgmt, Banking Sales Representative, ICT, Electricals, Electronics, Garment Making etc.
