Under Total Sanitation Programme (TSC) we were the implementing partner agency of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in district Hisar, Jhajjar & Bhiwani (Haryana) and Hajipur (Bihar). We carried out the TSC with CLTS model (community led demand driven exercise rather than government provided subsidy based). Further we had also facilitated in constructing more than 20000 Individual household toilets in district Hisar, Jhajar(Haryana) & Hajipur (Bihar). Apart from working at grass root level AIDENT was actively involved in capacity building of different stakeholders. it had a dedicated team which imparted customised training in district Hisar, Panipat, Jhajjar,Rohtak, Gurgaon, Bhiwani to the volunteers and Staff of DRDA and its training methods were well appreciated and recognized by the district administration.AIDENT is running 141 AIE (Alternative Innovative Education) and VC (vocational centers) under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) in district Panipat and Hisar in Haryana under which more than 2000 children of age group (5-8) year is getting education. SSA is the flagship programme of Government of India for elementary education. In 12-15 months period we have mainstreamed roughly 500 students. AIDENT is also involved in mainstreaming more than 3000 child labour in district Panipat, Haryana under National Child Labour Project, flagship programme of Ministry of Labor, GOI through informal education & vocational training. National Child Labour Project (NCLP) encompasses different strategies to stop the menace of child labour through survey for identification of child labour, awareness campaign, non-formal education in special schools, rehabilitation of child labour withdrawn from hazardous employment, mainstreaming of the child labour studying in special schools, enforcement of labour laws and income & employment generation.AIDENT is involved in rehabilitating destitute & migrant children through different means.
