Major Activities

Major tasks and accomplishments (as reported by the NGO):
We are a not for profit NGO , registered under Societies act; and have been working towards economic upliftment of youths from rural areas in and around Jorhat district in skills like LED lamp assembling, agarbatti making, washing soap making, banana fiber extraction, weaving etc. for the last two & half years with our own financial resources. On completion of their training course, we organize them into production clusters where they are self employed and our NGO looks after their technical support & marketing assistance. We are extremely happy to inform you that in this short period of less than two years we have been able to train around four hundred nos. of youths in six different activities. With the success of this model of skill development, we have now been approached by hundreds of youths from Jorhat as well as the neighboring districts of Sivasagar, Golaghat for training. You are aware that being an NGO, we do not have the requisite financial resources to cater to the skilling needs of so many desiring youths who are desperately in need of employment.
