Rubaroo engages in gender empowerment initiatives through a range of programmes. The Emerging Leaders program immerses youth in a 6-8 month journey, focusing on Leadership, Gender, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, and more. POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy at Workplace) training sensitizes employees to distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate workplace behaviour. The annual 'Rubaroo with Gender' event coincides with the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, showcasing gender-focused work through film screenings, discussions, and interactive sessions. The organisation's Gender Sensitization efforts involve campaigns, workshops, and programmes that encourage empathy and challenge perspectives on gender equality. Through these initiatives, Rubaroo strives to promote awareness and empower positive change.

Rubaroo conducts impactful interfaith initiatives, including the "Agaaz-e-Baatcheet" programme, which encourages conversations on interfaith perspectives, promoting unity among diverse religions. This flagship initiative, supported by the British Deputy High Commission, transforms young participants into Youth Champions, fostering leadership, conflict resolution, and community change initiatives. The organisation's "Empowering Young Global Citizens" programme, in partnership with the British Deputy High Commission, empowers minority youth to make informed decisions and influence positive change by enhancing skills in faith and harmony themes. The "Interfaith Youth Leadership Programme" in collaboration with the British High Commission further empowers youth leaders to foster integration, dialogue, and collaboration, promoting social inclusion, interfaith harmony, and diversity celebration through social action projects and panel discussions.

Rubaroo's Nurturer Programmes encompass impactful initiatives. Community Centers, managed by youth, provide cross-community learning spaces. It fosters agency, self-awareness, and leadership skills. "Rubaroo with Life Skills - SEL in Schools" delivers a curriculum to adolescents focusing on self-awareness, relationships, gender understanding, decision-making, and more. Equality Clubs, with YLAC, offer platforms for critical thinking and social leadership skills. AVNI - SDGs in Schools introduces Sustainable Development Goals through a co-created curriculum. "Circle of Stories" engages adolescents in rural community exposure for experiential learning. "Rubaroo In-turn-ship" offers intensive learning journeys with orientation, placement, and debriefing phases. "Safarnama - Youth Incubation" supports social change leaders. "Capacity Building & Teacher Training" enhances self-awareness and relationships for teachers and parents.
