Overview

It is a voluntary organization that works with children and women in difficult circumstances and looks into their re-integration in society. It provides free legal, counselling and rehabilitation services. Its work involves working closely with Goa police and other departments towards protection like child welfare committees and the Juvenile Justice Boards. It has a team of lawyers that looks into each of its programmes.

It is involved in research, advocacy & training on the subject of child protection & care. It participates, voices out facts and needs at the ground level to contribute in the policymaking process.

Projects

Provides support to witnesses and also assist the child as and when he/she is required for evidence. This programme has been instituted in collaboration with Child Rights Clinic at V.M.Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar.

The Socio-legal Cell is set up as a one-stop support center for all socio legal support to the children that offers free legal advice and counseling It also works towards job placements, enrolment of children for Stds.X and XII via NIOS and other vocational courses.

Services

The team of lawyers at the organization looks into the cases reported to the organization.

The counselors and lawyers jointly provide socio-legal support and counseling to the victim of abuse or those who have committed a crime.
