The company was created under the Arecanut Leaf Plate Initiative of Dhriiti. The company produces arecanut leaf plates and bowls from the arecanut leaf which falls from trees and is considered as a waste. The plates and bowls are sturdy, lightweight, microwave safe, chemical free and bio-degradable. The company uses the machine developed by Sandhya Engineering Concern in link with Dhriiti. Being a heat press machine, it helps to cut and build the plates into various sizes and shapes. It can be operated using LPG gas as well as electricity. This helps to provide employment to the rural people who are involved in producing the plates which are supplied to various places. The company mainly operates in the North-Eastern region where the arecanut leaf is commonly found.
