It provides support and guidance to children and youth from less privileged sections in both academics and arts. Through their Youth-Led Learning Cent Read morere they provide for resources to empower the students through learning, teaching and creativity. Their primary objective is to encourage self evaluation, learning, confidence, leadership skills through involvement in both academics and arts. Their strategy includes 'Academic programs' and 'Arts-in-Education program'. The academic programs include regular classes in Math, English and Computer skills. These courses are held in the afternoons (following regular school) from 3pm to 8pm for 5 days a week. Further, Arts-in-Education program encourages the power of creativity and self-expression through music, dance, theatre, arts & craft and filmmaking groups. The ultimate aim is to empower the students by developing their employment and entrepreneurial skills.

What started in 1996 with a preschool in Kotla for slow learners founded by Dr. Geeta Chopra and Mrs. Indira Gulati got registered as a non- profit in 1998. At present 250+ children study, teach, learn and follow their passion at Manzil. As a result a major impact can be seen in Manzil’s Empowerment Of Students that is Entirely Youth Led And Youth Driven.

  • Arts In Education

    Arts-in-Education programme encourages creativity and self-expression through music, dance, theater, painting & craft and filmmaking groups. The groups are led by confident young teachers and volunteers, or students of Manzil whose passion lies in arts. A sense confidence and of community is imbibed while students inspire one another and share their passions. Students are encouraged to initiate classes of their own, whether taking on the role of teacher or learner. Opportunities for the youth to express themselves outside of the classroom is equally fostered.
