Overview

Khetee works to improve the agronomic status in Bihar, specifically in Durdih village. Its aim is to promote the System of Root Intensification farming in order to make farming sustainable and profitable. Khetee's vision is to develop Durdih village into a model village where each farmer family earns sufficiently through agriculture.

Khetee runs capacity-development training programs for farmers, including high-yielding farming methods like System of Rice Intensification (SRI) technology. This works to instill confidence in the farmers' ability to harvest more from less by modifying their crop-management practices. In total, this will allow the farmers to provide a sustainable livelihood for their families, secure food, obtain surpluses, and avoid or repay debts.
