Overview

Wild Otters works to conduct extensive research on otters. It has conducted field projects on the following topics: occupancy and habitat preference of otters in Goa, identification of threats faced by otters in Goa, den usage by smooth-coated otters, diet analysis of smooth-coated otter, and behavior of Asian Small-clawed otters.

It has conducted a project which trained 13 Sri Lankan youth on otters. It also works to raise awareness regarding otters in children through its Children Education Program. Wild Otters conducts workshops throughout India on various topics such as otters, human-animal co-adaptation, GPS and cameras trapping, and project planning.
