Amani Institute offers various educational courses in areas such as Leadership, Management, Creativity and Communication to people from different back Read moregrounds helping them expand their capabilities.The project-based courses give them hands on experience. Its Social Innovation Management Program encourages students to build a network with the peers and experts from around the world and create their own social innovation. They get to work with a local organization and are guided about how to implement their ideas to get the desired social impact. It organizes short term courses like Leadership Boot-Camp course, Storytelling and Public Speaking, where anyone can learn how to effectively use economic and social models. The participants learn some of the key mindsets, skills and knowledge needed to become an effective business manager and leader. The Institute has need-based training programs for NGOs, corporations and foundation for their professional success. It collaborates with various universities to design Social Business and Entrepreneurship courses for building core professional skills and soft skills desired by employers. in 2017, their 'Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Social Innovation Management' has won 'Ashoka U – Cordes Innovation Award' in the Student Pathways category. The program 'Certificate in Social Innovation Management' running in both Nairobi (Kenya) and Sao Paulo (Brazil), which has enrolled more than 130 Fellows from 34 countries, has been featured in Fast Company, the Stanford Social Innovation Review, Forbes, and Vanity Fair, among others. In 2016, Amani Institute won Argidius / ANDE Talent Challenge, launched with a purpose of finding talented managers who can guide dynamic start-up firms in emerging markets. Amani Institute was among five finalists chosen to tackle the recruitment and retention challenges for start-up management in East Africa.

  • Custom Training Programs for Organizations

    Developing companies that are future-proof

    Collaborates with NGOs, colleges, foundations, and businesses to develop programs that are suited to their regional and global requirements. We are able to offer coaching, in-person and online courses, as well as training for trainers.

  • Social Innovation Management (SIM) for People

    The initiative aims to jump-start or modify the impact of careers of individuals around the globe. Starting in 2013, this program is available in two formats: a 5-month totally digital version and a 6-month hybrid version that combines a 3-month online component with a 3-month immersion phase in Kenya, India, or Brazil.

  • Leadership for Growth (L4G) for Organizations

    supporting emerging small and medium-sized enterprises for sustainable development
    This training helps managers develop their business and leadership skills.

    Small and growing companies (SGBs) are the global drivers of shared prosperity because they foster equity, growth, and sustainability.

    For SGBs medium and senior-level managers, Leadership for Growth (L4G) is a motivating and intensely engaging learning program that combines classroom-based or online courses, business applications, and a heavy emphasis on networking.

    The curriculum is offered in Brazil, East Africa, and South Asia in a variety of modes (online or in person).
