About

  • Since

    2002

Health and hygiene, women's empowerment, farmers' development and comprehensive rural development, financial inclusion, microfinance, education, and l Read moreivelihood measures have been the main areas of service focus. In addition to these significant programs, it supports maternal health, health check-up camps, multi-skills development centers for impoverished women in rural and urban areas, consumer awareness, environmental awareness, and women's empowerment through training minority women in leadership and associated skills. Additionally, we are currently organizing a large number of other projects for our recipients.

Programs

  • Social Empowerment

The group was selected by the Indian government's Ministry of Minority Affairs to teach minority women in Dehradun leadership development. In order to further support social empowerment, particularly for women from minority communities, further government programs, training on leadership development programs, and awareness raising on women's rights, including the right to information, education, and human rights, are now being implemented.

Its focus has been on the social and economic empowerment of these members of society because it is an organization that serves the needs of the community, especially the economically disadvantaged, BPL, and other marginalized groups. The idea of rural homestays in Uttarakhand has become more and more popular due to the Himalayas' allure for both Indians and foreign visitors.

  • Skill Development Programs

Sewing, tailoring, and beautician diploma programs are offered. The aim of these courses is to empower women to become entrepreneurs and to impart skills necessary for employment.

Following a successful training program, Balajee Sewa Sansthan also sets up funding for the commencement of an enterprise, which might come from a loan from Balajee or any rural or nationalized bank. We will also assist the populace in establishing both forward and backward links for produced goods and services.

  • HIV-AIDS (Target Intervention) Program

The Uttarakhand State Aids Control Society has selected the organization to engage with the migrant community in the Dehradun area as part of the Targeted Intervention Program. In HIV/AIDS Control Programs, Targeted Interventions (TI) are a special collection of interventions designed to explicitly target individuals seen to engage in high-risk behavior (HRG). Males having sex with men (MSM), female sex workers (FSW), injecting drug users (IDUs), and bridge groups (local transport workers, migrant workers, and truck drivers) are the key groups involved in high-risk behavior.

In addition to lowering the risk of HIV infection, TIs also make it easier to prevent and cure other STDs since they are associated with HIV-positive individuals' care, support, and treatment resources.
